Check out Goodreads to see all of my book reviews and ratings. I don't always get a chance to write a review for every book I've read, so feel free to message me if you want me to review a specific book, whether or not I've read it already. Let me know if there are specific things you'd like to see in my reviews (like more detailed comments on characters) to help you pick your next read!

If you are an author or publisher looking for honest, objective, and substantive reviews, please send me an email! I'd be thrilled to read and review your book. I am happy to read ARCs, physical, or digital books, then post my reviews on my blog, my Goodreads account, and Amazon. If you have any other website where you'd like me to post a review, please let me know in your email.

As always, I want to help you discover a new book to read and maybe find a favourite along the way.

Day 25 (30-Day Challenge)

A Character Who You Can Relate To The Most

Ginny Weasley

I've had a difficult time with this one because there's not one character above all others that I read and say... wow, that's my life and that's how I think. I can see myself in aspects of many different characters, but I've decided to pick Ginny for this. She is smart, tough, good at Charms, athletic and loyal. As much as I adore Hermione, she's brilliant but more studious than I am whereas I feel like Ginny is naturally smart and doesn't put as much time into studying and homework.

Day 24 (30-Day Challenge)

A Book That You Wish More People Would Have Read

Grisha Trilogy (Shadow and Bone) - Leigh Bardugo

I was a little slow getting into, but the unique story is really interesting and definitely worth the read.

Review: Scarlett Epstein Hates It Here

Scarlett Epstein Hates It Here Scarlett Epstein Hates It Here by Anna Breslaw
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I would like to preface this by saying I only read a SNEAK PEEK, not the full book.

Scarlett was suggested to me as a cross between Veronica Mars (who I love) and Daria (who I know next to nothing about). Scarlett writes and reads fanfic about her favourite television show, Lycanthrope High. Its one of those books where you connect with the main character because they get you. The tv show, movie, book comic or video game character that you fall in love with feels like a real person - and Scarlett understands that. Her straight-laced best friend, Avery, not so much. Its a uniue take on the high shcool experience with an aekward protagonist you want to know more about. I suggest you check it out.
